The educational qualification required for the various posts varies from class 10th pass to graduation. The age limit for the general category candidates is 18-40 years, while it is 18-35 years for the reserved category candidates.
The selection process for the various posts will be conducted through a written test, followed by a physical test and an interview. The written test will be of an objective type and will be conducted in English and Hindi. The physical test will be conducted for the posts of constable, driver, and other physical demanding posts. The interview will be conducted for the posts of stenographer, clerk, and other non-physical demanding posts.
The application fee for the various posts is Rs. 100 for the general category candidates, Rs. 50 for the EWS category candidates, and Rs. 25 for the SC/ST/PWD category candidates.
Candidates can apply online through the JKSSB website. The application form can be filled up from May 23, 2023, to June 22, 2023.
