Union Public Service Commission UPSC recruiting IFS officers apply deadline is July 25, 2023 

Here are some of the eligibility criteria for the IFS:

1. You must be a citizen of India.
2. You must have a bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
3. You must be between the ages of 21 and 32 years old as of the closing date of the application.
4. You must have a minimum of 60% marks in your bachelor's degree.

If you meet the eligibility criteria, you can start the application process by creating an account on the UPSC website. Once you have created an account, you can fill out the online application form and submit it.

The application fee for the IFS is Rs. 100 for general candidates and Rs. 50 for SC/ST/PwBD candidates.

The UPSC will conduct a written examination for the IFS. The examination will be held in two stages: the preliminary examination and the main examination.

The preliminary examination will consist of two objective-type papers: General Studies and Forest Ecology and Wildlife. The main examination will consist of seven papers,

• Indian Languages
• Essay
• Forest Ecology and Wildlife
• Forestry

The UPSC will also conduct an interview for the IFS. The interview will be conducted to assess the candidate's personality, suitability, and potential for the IFS

The final selection of candidates for the IFS will be based on their performance in the written examination, interview, and medical examination.
