The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has released the notification for the recruitment of 3388 Group D posts. The online application process will start on August 12, 2023. The vacancies are available for the following posts:
Trackman
Helper, Cabin Man, Signaller, Pointsman, Guard
Ticket Collector, Goods Guard
Cleaner, Sweeper
Porter
Fireman
The educational qualification required for the posts varies. For most posts, a minimum of a 10th pass is required. For some posts, a minimum of ITI is required.
The age limit for the posts is 18 to 33 years. There is an age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates.
The selection process for the posts will consist of a written examination, physical efficiency test (PET), and medical examination.

The written examination will be held in two stages:
Stage I: This will be a computer-based test (CBT) with 100 questions. The duration of the test will be 90 minutes.
Stage II: This will be a CBT for 50 questions. The duration of the test will be 60 minutes.
The PET will consist of three events:
100-meter run
800-meter run
Pull-ups
A medical examination will be conducted to check the physical fitness of the candidates.
The application fee for the posts is Rs. 250 for SC/ST/PWD/Women candidates and Rs. 500 for General/OBC candidates.
