Meaning of the Tricolour
Our National Flag — the Tiranga — carries a deep meaning in each of its three colours:
Saffron – Courage and sacrifice
White – Peace and truth
Green – Growth and prosperity
At the centre, the Ashoka Chakra with its 24 spokes represents progress, justice, and the eternal wheel of time.
Celebrations Across the Nation
On Independence Day, the entire country comes alive with celebrations.
