The Jammu and Kashmir government has announced 12,000 new vacancies for direct recruitment without any exam. The vacancies are in various departments, including education, health, police, and engineering. The recruitment process will be conducted by the Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC).The following are the details of the vacancies:
- Education: 5,000 vacancies
- Health: 2,000 vacancies
- Police: 2,000 vacancies
- Engineering: 3,000 vacancies
The eligibility criteria for the vacancies are as follows:- Education: Graduate degree with 50% marks in aggregate
- Health: Graduate degree in a relevant discipline with 50% marks in aggregate
- Police: Graduate degree with 50% marks in aggregate and height of 165 cm for men and 155 cm for women
- Engineering: Graduate degree in a relevant discipline with 50% marks in aggregate.
The application process for the vacancies will start on June 1, 2023, and will end on July 31, 2023. The application fee is Rs. 100 for general category candidates and Rs. 50 for SC/ST candidates.
The selection process for the vacancies will be conducted through a written test, followed by an interview. The written test will be of objective type and will consist of 100 questions. The interview will be of 30 minutes duration.
The results of the written test will be announced in August 2023 and the interviews will be conducted in September 2023. The final results will be announced in October 2023.
The candidates who are selected will be appointed on a regular basis and will be entitled to all the benefits, including salary, allowances, and pension.
