The Jammu and Kashmir government has launched a new scheme for the youth of the union territory, called the "Mumkin Scheme". Under this scheme, unemployed youth will be provided financial assistance of up to Rs. 5 lakh to purchase a new small commercial vehicle. The objective of the scheme is to facilitate the youth to establish a sustainable livelihood in the transport sector.The following are the eligibility criteria for the Mumkin Scheme:
- The applicant must be a citizen of India.
- The applicant must be a resident of Jammu and Kashmir.
- The applicant must be unemployed.
- The applicant must have a driving license.
- The applicant must have a valid Aadhar card.

The application form for the Mumkin Scheme can be downloaded from the website of Mission Youth, Jammu and Kashmir. The filled-in application form along with the required documents should be submitted to the Mission Youth office in your district.
The selection of the beneficiaries under the Mumkin Scheme will be done on a merit basis. The beneficiaries will be selected through a lottery draw.
The financial assistance under the Mumkin Scheme will be released in two installments. The first installment of Rs. 2.5 lakh will be released after the beneficiary submits the necessary documents and the second installment of Rs. 2.5 lakh will be released after the beneficiary registers the vehicle in his/her name.
The Mumkin Scheme is a welcome initiative by the Jammu and Kashmir government to provide financial assistance to the unemployed youth of the union territory. This scheme will help the youth to establish a sustainable livelihood in the transport sector and contribute to the economic development of the region.
