The Ministry of Women and Child Development (WCD) has released the Anganwadi Recruitment 2023 notification for 53,000 vacancies. The vacancies are for the posts of Anganwadi Worker, Anganwadi Helper, and Anganwadi Supervisor. The application process will start soon and the last date to apply is yet to be announced.
The eligibility criteria for the different posts are as follows:
- Anganwadi Worker:
- Must be a graduate or equivalent.
- Age between 21 and 35 years.
- Anganwadi Helper:
- Must have passed 10th standard or equivalent.
- Age between 18 and 40 years.
- Anganwadi Supervisor:
- Must have passed 12th standard or equivalent.
- Age between 21 and 40 years.
The selection process will be through a written test and an interview. The syllabus for the written test will be available on the official website of the WCD.
The salary for the different posts is as follows:
- Anganwadi Worker: Rs. 3600/- per month
- Anganwadi Helper: Rs. 2200/- per month
- Anganwadi Supervisor: Rs. 4500/- per month
The application form can be downloaded from the official website of the WCD. The application fee is Rs. 100/- for general category candidates and Rs. 50/- for SC/ST/PWD candidates.
